Would it be possible to get ServiceCapture to run from a USB key?

I require ServiceCapture on different machines, and it would be much easier to have it installed on a USB key and just connect it to the machine i'm currently on.

What do you think?

This makes sense. I will try to look into it (need to get a key first). when you do it now, other than the fact that you have to reactivate on each machine are their other issues?

I haven't encountered any myself, i just keep a USB key with me with a load of portable apps and tools and just thought having servicecapture run from a usb key would make sence for moving between machines.

By the way, you could test it with anything that acts as a mass storage device (ie an Ipod, a mobile phone, etc) if you don't want to buy a USB key.

The idea is really just to get it to run standalone (ie no dependansies on the registry and such)

Looking into this a little further... I think it will be pretty straightforward on PC, but probably not attainable on mac.

But maybe i'm just being selfish =)

Please do let us know if this is something you go ahead with.
